Mission10X Program Report |

|
Mission10X is a Not for Profit Trust created by
Wipro Ltd., and was launched on 5 September 2007. It
represents: "Mission to increase employability of
graduates by 10 times or multiples of 10 times". The
Vision of Mission10X is to increase employability of
fresh graduates in India by 10 times. The mission is
to empower faculty to do better teaching learning
processes to achieve the vision. The goal is to
empower 10,000 faculties in engineering colleges in
India by 5 September 2010. The objective is to train
faculty to obtain the following International
Certifications: |
- Dale Carnegie Certificate on High Impact
Teaching Skills
- Cambridge International Certificate for
Teachers and Trainers
- Mission10X Certificate in Teaching and
Learning

Mission10X Workshop |
|
This program is oriented towards building continuous
professional development of teachers of engineering
education. It is primarily designed to shift the
paradigm from teaching to learning and transform the
learning cultures in the institutions of engineering
education. The program enables the faculty to reach
out to their students intellectually and emotionally
and makes a significant difference in their
students' learning thereby increasing and enhancing
visibility of the institution as a whole. |

Mission10X Program at SSN |
|
It was a 5 full day workshop with 35 participants
from SSN College of Engineering, St. Josephs College
of Engineering, and Mohd Sathak College of
Engineering. SSNCE hosted the workshop during April
6, 2009 to April 10 2009. Dr. Sudha and Dr. Sathish
Kumar handled the various workshop sessions. Dr. S.
Salivahanan, Principal, SSNCE inaugurated the 5 day
workshop on April 6, 2009. Mr. Nagarjuna Sadineni,
General Manager, Talent Transformation, Wipro
Technologies, Dr. V C Ravichandran, Director, CUIC
Anna University and Dr. Selvam, Dpty Director, CUIC,
Anna University graced the valedictory function with
their presence. A 2 full day post-workshop session
will be conducted after 60 days for these 35
participants. |
